Everything we thought we knew about the last days is wrong
A discussion about 'Prophecy Shock' on "A Very Tall Man - The Podcast".
It’s been just over seven weeks since Prophecy Shock launched on Amazon and the response has been humbling.
The book hit #1 almost immediately after release, and the reviews that followed have described the book as “mind blowing,” “eye opening,” “deeply logical,” and “the clearest explanation of Daniel and Revelation” they’ve ever encountered.
Again and again, reviewers are saying that Prophecy Shock has changed their entire view of prophecy and finally made sense of scriptures that had confused them – sometimes for decades.
But I’m also very aware that there are still plenty of people who’ve held off reading the book simply because they’re not entirely sure what it’s actually about – which is why the recent invitation, from acclaimed Broadcaster Gary Hoogvliet, to appear on A Very Tall Man – The Podcast, was so timely.
In a relaxed and wide ranging half hour conversation Gary and I touch on:
- the message of the book
- why Israel sits at the centre of the prophetic story
- why so many modern interpretations of prophecy keep failing
- and why I make the claim that the time-defined prophecies of Daniel and Revelation have already been fulfilled within human history.
So if you’ve been curious about Prophecy Shock but weren’t quite sure whether it would interest you, this podcast will give you a very clear answer.
If the podcast whets your appetite for more – you can find the book at www.prophecyshock.com
(And yes – before someone points it out – there are a couple of wording slips in the interview that I should correct. I mistakenly refer to Hal Lindsey as still being alive; he passed away in 2024 – and when discussing Matthew 24 and “this generation,” I’m referring to people born in or before 1948 – not just babies born during 1948 itself.)
