“I couldn’t put it down”
Early reviews for Prophecy Shock
Within a few days of releasing Prophecy Shock, a month ago, it reached #1 on Amazon Australia.
And then – crickets.
To be fair, I expected this. It’s a big book, and I knew it would take people time to read it. But it was what might happen after that which had me lying awake at night. Would people like it? Would they accept the premise? Or would it be slammed and end up as a colourful doorstop?
For weeks, I waited for the answer.
And then the responses started to come. First slowly, then more regularly. Comments on social media. Direct messages. Emails from readers. And, of course, Amazon reviews.
What has encouraged me most is not that the feedback has been positive – it’s how consistent the comments and reviews have been and who they appear to be coming from.
They are not, for the most part, from people encountering Bible prophecy for the first time. Instead, they appear to be from long-time Christians who have lived for years with the usual explanations of Daniel, Revelation and the last days and have heard the sermons, read the theories, seen the charts, and carried the unanswered questions.
And they’re repeatedly saying the same thing: that Prophecy Shock has transformed their thinking and that the Books of Daniel and Revelation finally make sense.
Other repeated themes are that the book is clear, logical, readable, well explained, and different from what they expected. That it has challenged long-held assumptions about Bible prophecy. That it has brought peace, understanding and fresh hope.
They’re also saying that, after reading the book, they are seeing Israel, the Jewish people, and Jerusalem back at the centre of the prophetic story – not as a side issue, but as the thread that makes the whole picture hold together.
Then there is the consistent response to the structure of the book itself: that the timelines, the historical sequence, the simple mathematics, and the Books of Daniel and Revelation all support each other rather than competing for attention.
That is deeply encouraging.
If you’ve already read Prophecy Shock and it has helped you, the single most useful thing you can do now is leave an Amazon review. It doesn’t need to be long but a few sentences will help other readers to decide whether this is the book they’ve been looking for.

If you haven’t ordered the book yet, you can do so at that same link, or by going to www.prophecyshock.com and selecting the Amazon site closest to you, so as to save on postage.
To those who now understand what the prophecies in Daniel and Revelation really mean – thank you. For those who still have that journey ahead, I envy you the thrill of that first discovery.
