What’s all the fuss about?

It’s now almost exactly six months since I published Prophecy Shock, and the response has been extraordinary. People write to me, text me and stop me in the street, in cafes or at events just to tell me how profoundly reading it has changed their understanding of bible prophecy.

It’s incredibly humbling – all the more because, to be honest, I expected the reaction to the book to be a lot more divisive.

Why? Because it makes a huge claim, right there on the front cover – “everything you thought you knew about the last days is wrong” – and you don’t get far into the book before realising just how literal that claim is. It isn’t just another book on prophecy – it explains what these prophecies really mean.

At first glance, that sounds extraordinarily arrogant. Afterall, there are many valuable books on prophecy and some are extremely well known. Each brings something new to the debate. Some examine the original languages. Others concentrate on historical context, Jewish traditions, the numbers or the surrounding scriptures. All of their authors have made important contributions to our understanding.

But what makes Prophecy Shock different is that it brings ALL of these elements together. It connects language, context, numbers, history, tradition, geography, chronology and the structure of the visions in a way which produces one coherent explanation. And the effect is extraordinary. Once you see the first two or three of the solutions, you’ll start to recognise the same story unfolding, again and again. Different visions reveal different aspects of the same narrative, aligning precisely with history and the world that we see today.

And none of it is complicated. The reasoning is simple to follow, and the evidence leaves no room for a different answer. This is what the prophecies in the Books of Daniel and Revelation actually mean.

So, yes, I expected controversy. Instead, lives are being changed as people come to the same conclusions after following the evidence for themselves.
